The procedure for the above problem:
Step 1: Divide the large number by the small number. In the above problem large number is 81 and small is 63. We divide 81 by 63 the quotient is 1 and the remainder is 18.
Step 2: Then we divide 63 by 18, the quotient is 3 and the remainder is 9.
Step 3: We divide 18 by 9, the quotient is 2 and remainder is 0.
Step 4: Continue the division till we get zero remainder. The last non-zero remainder is the G.C.D. of two numbers.
