Grade 8 - Mathematics 7.26 Special Products: (a+b)(a^{2}-ab+b^{2}) = a^{3}+^{3}

Formula : (a+b)(a^{2}-ab+b^{2}) = a^{3}+b^{3}

Example:
Find the product (2x+3y)(4x^{2}-6xy+9y^{2}) . Solution:
Using above formula, Let a = 2x and b = 3y in the above equation
(a+b)(a^{2}-ab+b^{2}) = (2x+3y)(4x^{2}-6xy+9y^{2})
= (2x)^{3}+^{3}
= 8x^{3}+^{3}
