An improper fraction is one whose numerator is greater than denominator.
Example: 34/5
  1. Divide 34 by 5.
  2. The remainder is 4.
  3. The mixed fraction is written in the form Quotient Remainder/Divisor.
  4. The quotient here is 6, remainder is 4 and the divisor is 5.
Answer: 6 4/5

Directions: Convert improper fractions to mixed fraction. Also write at least ten examples of your own.
