High School Mathematics 4.59 Volume of the Cylinder - I
Example:
The ratio of the radius and height of a cylinder is 5:3. The radius is 25m. Find its volume. Solution:
Given that r = 25cm.
Height (h) = 3/5 * 15 = 15cm. Volume of the cylinder = pi * r^{2} * h.
= 22/7 * 25 * 25 15
= 29464.2857 C. cm.
= 29464.29 c. cm. (Converted into two decimal places)
