Geometry6.7 Total Surface Area of a Cuboid

Example:
The length, breadth and height of a cuboid are 16cm., 14cm. and 10cm. respectively. Find the total surface area of the cuboid.
Solution:
Total surface area of cuboid = 2 (l*b + b*h + h*l).
Given that,
l = 16cm., b = 14cm. and h = 10cm.
Substituting values in the equation we get,
= 2 (16*4 + 14*10 + 10*16)
= 2(224 + 140 + 160)
= 2 * 524
= 1048 Sq. cm.
