The radius of a sphere is 14 cm. to paint the surface of the sphere at 2 cents per 1 Sq. cm. how much will it cost? Solution:
Given that,
Radius of the sphere = 14 cm. Surface area of the sphere = 4 * pi * r^{2}
= 4 * 22/7 * 14 * 14
= 88 * 2 * 14
= 2464 Sq. cm.
