3.15 Types of Adjectives

There are three types of adjectives:

Positive Adjectives: Words that say something about a noun.
Example: Ford Mustang is a fast car.

Comparative Adjectives: Words that compare two nouns.
Example: Ford Mustang is faster than Chevy Camaro.

Superlative Adjectives: Words that compare more than two nouns.
Example: Ford Mustang is the fastest among Ford cars.


Directions: Choose the correct form of the adjective to complete each sentence. Write five example for each type of adjective described above. As a homework, read a book and find positive, comparative, and superlative adjectives and write the sentences in which they appeared.
