|There are three types of adjectives: Positive, Comparative, and Superlative.
Comparatives are forms of adjectives or adverbs used to compare two different things. With adjectives you add er to the end to make a comparative. If the adjective ends in y, drop the y and add ier.

Superlative form is used to compare three or more people or objects.

Directions: Fill in the blanks with the missing adjective forms. Write five example sentences for each of positive, comparative, and superlative adjectives. As a homework, read a book and write sentences containing adjectives and identify the forms of the adjectives.
