Look at the problems.
One of the factors is written as sum of two numbers, such that one of them is a multiple of it.
This is done so that it is easy to multiply with 10.
Multiply the numbers and add the products.
12 is written as 10 + 2.
Multiply 43 and 2 which gives 86.
Multiply 43 and 10 which gives 430.
Add the products.
Expand and multiply the follwing. Write at least 10 examples of your own.
