2.39 Division - One Digit Divisors without Remainder

Method:
  1. Look at the first number of the dividend.
  2. If this number is lesser than divisor, then include the second digit to divide.
  3. If the number is greater or equal to the divisor, then each number is divided one by one.
Example: 126/7

  1. 1 is lesser than 7, so 12 is divided by 7.
  2. This leaves a remainder 5 and 6 is brought down.
  3. 7 completely divides 56 into 8.
Answer: 56R0
