Method:
  1. To find double of a number, add the same number to it.
  2. To find half of a number, write one of the addends that would result in the number as double.
Example:
Half of 6 is ____.
We know that 3+3 = 6
Hence half a number, is the one of the addends resulting in double.
Answer = 3.

Example:
Double 8 you get ____.
8+8 = 16
Answer = 16
