Rules for 0:
:
Zero divided by any number (except 0) equals zero.
0 ÷ 8 = 0, 0 ÷ 5 = 0
We cannot divide by 0. That is any number divided by 0 is not defined.
5 ÷ 0 is an impossible problem.
Rules for 1:
:
Any number (except 0) divided by itself equals 1.
7 ÷ 7 = 1, 4 ÷ 4 = 1
Any number divided by 1 equals that number.
6 ÷ 1 = 6, 9 ÷ 1 = 9
Example
: 35/ 1 = ?
Answer: 35
