Method:
  1. When we add two numbers we form a sum.
  2. The numbers that are added are called addends.
  3. When we subtract one number from the other we get a difference.
  4. The bigger number is called subtrahend.
  5. The smaller number is called the minuend. It is the number that is subtracted from the subtrahend.

Example:
4+3 =7
7 is called the sum.
4 and 3 are called the addends.

Example:
7-3 = 4
4 is the difference
7 is called the subtrahend
3 is called the minuend
