Multiples of 15 are 15, 30, 45, 60
Least Common Multiple (LCM) = 30
Answer: 30


Example 2:
Jill purchased some apples to distribute to her friends. If she gave 4 or 5 or 6 apples to each of her friends she will be left with 100 apples. What is the least number of apples she purchased?
Solution:
The L.C.M of 4,5,6 = 60
100 + 60 = 160
The least number of apples she purchased is 160.
Solution: 160 apples.
