The subject of non-fiction is real. The writer writes about actual persons, places, or events. The writer may report actual facts or he may include personal opinions.
To read non-fiction, it helps to think critically while you are reading and ask the questions: WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, and HOW.
