
Closure Property: For any two whole numbers "a" and "b", their sum (a+b) is also a whole number. Example: 7+10 = 17, 0+9 = 9
Commutative Property: For any two whole numbers "a" and "b", a+b = b+a.
Associative Property: For any three whole numbers a, b, and c, a+(b+c) = (a+b)+c.
Additive identity: For every whole number a, a+0 = 0+a = a. 0 is called the additive identity in the set of all whole numbers. Directions: Chose the correct answer. Also write at least 5 examples of your own for each property.
