Rules for Divisibility
A whole number is divisible by 2 if it is even number that is if it has 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 in ones place.
A whole number is divisible by 3 if the sum of the digits is divisible by 3.
A whole number is divisible by 4 if the number formed by the last two digits is divisible by 4.
A whole number is divisible by 5 if the number contains 5 or 0 in the ones place.
A whole number is divisible by 6 if the number is divisible by 2 and 3
A whole number is divisible by 7 if the number in the ones place is doubled and this is subtracted from the remaining numbers, the result has to be a multiple of 7
A whole number is divisible by 8 if the numbers formed by the last three digits is divisible by 8.
A whole number is divisible by 9 if the sum of the digits is divisible by 9.
A whole number is divisible by 10 if the number has 0 in ones place.
A whole number is divisible by 11 if the difference of the numbers obtained on adding the alternate digits of the numbers separately is divisible by 11.

Example: Is 32 divisible by 5?
For a number to be divisible by 5, it should end with 0 or 5.
Answer: 32 is not divisible by 5.
