Grade 6 - Mathematics 12.56 Multiplication of Monomials - VIII

Remember the following rule:
(a^{m})^{n} = a^{m*n}

Example: (a^{2})^{4} = _____ ? Solution:
Using the rule given above, for the expression given, m = 2 and n = 4 and m*n = 2*4 = 8. Therefore, the answer is a^{2*4} = a^{8}.
