Example:
Express 9a2 + 15ab as product of factors.
Solution:
To find factors first we find HCF of the terms, that is
Breaking each monomial simplest numerical literal factors, we get
9a2 = 3 * 3 * a * a
15ab = 3 * 5 * a * b
HCF of the terms = 3 * a = 3a
9a2 + 15ab = 3a * 3a + 3a * 5b (Since 3a is the HCF)
= 3a(3a + 5b)

Directions: Write the given terms as product of factors. Also write at least 10 examples of your own.
