Even numbers are 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8.
Odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.
Therefore, if a number ends in 2, 4, 6, 8, or 0, it is an even number.
If a number ends in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9, it is an odd number.
