 Write the numerator as the number without the decimal point.
 If there is one number after the decimal point, then the denominator is 10.
 If there are two numbers after the decimal point, then the denominator is 100.
 If there are three numbers after the decimal point, then the denominator is 1000 and so on.
Example: .04
Since there are two numbers after the decimal point, the denominator is 100.
Answer: 4/100
Example: 1.4
Since there is one number after the decimal point, the denominator is 10.
Answer: 14/10
Example: 12.345
Since there are three numbers after the decimal point, the denominator is 1000.
Answer:12,345/1000
