Polyhedron: A solid bounded by plane faces or polygons, especially by more than four is known as polyhedredron. The plane faces or polygons are also called faces.

Type of Solids:


A regular polyhedron has similar shaped faces. An irregular polyhedron has different shaped faces. The 5 regular polyhedra are:
Cube has 6 square faces.
Regular tetrahedron has 4 triangular faces.
Regular octahedron has 8 triangular faces.
Regular dodecahedron has 12 pentagonal faces.
Regular icosahedron has 20 triangular faces.
