  1. Look at the fractions given.
  2. Convert them to equivalent decimals.
Example: 56/10
Since the denominator is 10, there is only one decimal place in the numerator
Answer: 5.6

Example: 45/100
Since the denominator is 100, there are two decimal place in the numerator
Answer: 0.45

Example: 23/1000
Since the denominator is 1000, there are three decimal places in the numerator
Answer: 0.023
